This is a whacky adventure about a hilarious dog that accidentally gets driven away from his original owner. Henry, Ribsy’s owner, tries to look for his very special dog, but it seems as if he’ll never find him. Ribsy has all sorts of adventures including being bathed in violet scented bubble bath, becoming a class mascot, and chasing squirrels. He even plays in a football game! It’s a funny, heartwarming tale (or is it tail) that you would want to read over, and over, and over again!!!

I read a lot of books by Beverly Cleary when I was younger, but I don't think I ever read Ribsy...maybe I should read it now! Thanks for writing such a great summary of the book.

i haven't heard of this book, but it sounds really funny! i have really been wanting a dog lately. i have a question for you: which would make a better pet, lassie or ribsy?
